President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda and President Samia Suluhu Hassan of Tanzania have signed a transformative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that redefines East Africa's economic trajectory. Moving away from the traditional model of raw crude oil exportation, the two nations are strategically pivoting toward the creation of an integrated regional energy and industrial hub centered in Tanga.
